Shady River Getaway is directly in the path of totality with more than 4 minutes of total darkness! We are located on the beautiful Eleven Point River, away from city lights and noise.
Plan now for a tent/SUV site or RV/camper site! Come early and bring your fishing gear, canoe, kayak, and hiking boots!
Bring your own canoe or kayak and enjoy a day float trip on the River for an extra $25/person shuttle fee. Walk our beautiful hiking trails or relax in your lawn chair by the River. All tent/SUV campsites are 15x30 feet (4-person limit), and all RV campsites(limited quantity) are 20x50 feet.
Everything must fit within your site, including your vehicle, tent, or Rv/camper. Campsites and RV sites do not include water or electric hookups.
Portable restrooms will be placed in several locations around the property. RV’s must be self-contained; no dump stations will be available. Generators are allowed for RVs, no generators are allowed in the tent camping area. Pets are permitted and must be well-behaved and kept on a leash.
Any pets that show aggressive behavior or bark incessantly will be removed from the property. Campfires will not be permitted at individual campsites, but community campfires will be located in several locations on the property. We suggest you bring your food and water, but food tents/trucks will be available. A general merchandise tent will sell over-the-counter medicines, water bottles, soda drinks, etc. Alcoholic beverages are allowed at your campsite but will not be sold on the property.
No glass containers are allowed. No ATVs, 4-wheelers, or dirt bikes are allowed on the property. One vehicle is allowed at each campsite, and no extra parking will be available on the property.
