What a wonderful stay! My family and I took a weekend trip to Shady River Getaway, and we will definitely be back for more fun! The accommodations were perfect for us to enjoy the peace and quiet, many campfires, walks, river access for us to wade or swim, golf cart adventures and games all packed away in this one spot for all ages. The owners go out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Thank you for the smiles .

We just arrived home from our stay of two nights. If your mind needs peace and tranquility then this is the place to go. The beauty of nature while riding carts on trails or floating on a private inlet on eleven point river. The owners are kind and gracious and go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect even came back our last night there just to see how we are doing and spend time talking to our granddaughter and asking about her canoe trip.If I had the option to leave 10 stars I would. Our granddaughter wants to go back and bring the entire family their for her birthday next year. We will defiantly be back.

This City girl had such a wonderful time!!! The hosts were wonderful and helpful!! We were able to kayak, visit most of the land on a go kart, paint rocks, hang out on the “beach” and SO much more. We will be back! The views are breathtaking!!
